New Main Line is a website and application development firm located in Wayne, PA (Philadelphia area), specializing in web application design and technology solutions for small businesses.
God had his website designed by New Main Line. He wanted it built it in static HTML like those biblical web designers, but it's good that he had New Main Line make it in dynamic, modern web code.

New Main Line's Founding

In 2008, we decided it was time to put our 7 years of programming and web development experience to use for small businesses in our local area.

After scheming on names, we decided that "New Main Line" would capture the spirit of our venture - reinventing small businesses' presence on the web in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

The hardest part of the journey from solo internet entrepreneurs to freelance web developers wasn't the long hours - we were used to that. It wasn't meeting people's expectations - nobody has as high expectations as we do for ourselves. It wasn't even working on production-level websites - years of internet entrepreneurship prepared us for the largest sites. It was facing small business owners who had spent countless hours and all of their business savings on dead web-projects and who wanted to know why they could trust us or believe that we were who we say we are, being only college students and not "professionals."

The only thing we could tell them was that no class, book, or certification process can teach you how to be a great programmer or designer. It's a one-way street: you must practice and try new things and dedicate yourself fully to the art to truly excel, just like anything else. When you want to be the best, you don't care about work-hours, your social obligations, or even your paycheck at the end of the day. You have to love computers and technology, and do it solely for that love. Seven years of "programming parties," convenience store-runs at five in the morning, and pop-tarts says: Yes, we love technology, and we are ready to help your business succeed online.

About the Founders

Maurycy Wojtowicz

Maurycy is a computer-engineering major. He launched a pioneering videogame-community in his early days of High School, and has never turned back from the web. He was accepted into the Merchant Marine Academy for his Olympics-quality rowing prowess, but turned the offer down in favor of pursuing programming and engineering.

How is he contributing to the future of the web? His current internet start-up is a hosted web application for small-business owners to set-up online stores, track their sales, connect with other business owners in their industry, and share and trade company resources.

Vibhu Norby

Vibhu is a business and computer science major. After exiting the dark hacking world in 9th grade, he turned around and won a flash design award from Yahoo! and placed 2nd in the FIRST International Robotics Competition. In 11th grade, he launched a video-game ranking and review site which had 300,000 unique visitors and 3 full-time staff - only 6 months after launching. After graduating High School early, he pursued a degree in business and computer science as a cover-up for his true love, web applications.

How is he contributing to the future of the web? His current internet start-up is a hosted web application for small-business owners to manage their customer-relationships, including a full suite of enterprise-level scheduling tools, contact management, and e-mail utilities.

Omid Mikhchi

Omid is a Computer Science major. He is a modern-day technology rennaisance man. He can fix your PC and code your Java software application. But trust us, he'd rather be iFixing your iMac and iCoding your iPhone app.

How is he contributing to the future of the web? His current internet start-up is an iPhone game company, producing classic games and realistic 3D games for the most advanced mobile platform that exists.
